War Memorial Museum
[1] Winner of the Renaissance Heritage People’s Choice Award 2007
Within the tower there are three floor of militaria. They represent the efforts of the men and women who helped make this country safe for future generations to enjoy in freedom and peace.
There are items from each of the armed forces, men and women, and the civilian population, keeping alive the memory of comrades, many taken before their time, and to allow future generations to respect those sacrifices.
The Museum is run by volunteers who will be pleased to help you with further information.
The tower is open to the public everyday from Good Friday until 30th September, every year.
